Taste of London
June 30, 2017
On Wednesday June 15th London’s Regents Park couldn’t have looked better. No wellies or brollies were needed this year, the sun was splitting the sky and the air was absolutely buzzing. Taste of London delivered yet again as the ultimate who’s who of the food industry. From new brands to highly esteemed chefs and restaurants, there was representation from the very best UK foodies.
We spent our afternoon browsing the stalls, sampling incredible ethnic flavours, locally produced artisanal produce and signature dishes. Some of the busiest stalls were on the day were Duck and Waffle, Ember Yard, Vanilla and Black, Bubble Dog and Temper.
Check out a couple of our favourite dishes below!
Duck and Waffle – Heritage carrots and spiced chickpeas with labneh and pomegranate
Ember Yard – Courgette and mint arancini with whipped ricotta, shaved fennel and toasted pumpkin salad seeds
Vanilla and Black – Chocolate mousse with cep mushroom fudge, brioche and lavender honeycomb
Bubble Dog – Truffle Shuffle! Smoked beef frankfurter, steamed roll, truffled mac and cheese plus truffle and bacon crumb. Served with their own ice cold rose champagne
Temper – Pork Skin Jhal Muri. Crispy pork skin with puffed rice salad
Orlava – Baked lamb fat potatoes, halloumi, fried egg and sherry vinegar caramel
Yosma – Turkish lamb dumplings with and amazing yogurt sauce with chilli oil and mint
